| Like many former residents, I'm sure those wonderful
Puxico years "are still on their minds" like they are on mine.
Puxico is a wonderful place. Accentuate all its positive assets, resources
and opportunities. Then plug in needed changes and ideas that will keep
it that way for a long time to come. I know you will. Sonny Meadows |

I don't live there but Puxico is still my home town. I'm glad you are undertaking this wonderful development plan. I do so enjoy Puxico's traditional Homecoming Week Activities/carnival/parade, family & class reunions, etc. In last weeks paper I read about the need for lodging close to town. Since I no longer have relatives living there, I always end up in Dexter or Poplar Bluff like many others. I would rather leave my money there in Puxico. About the Malden experience mentioned, I'm sure some of us non-residents would also like to invest in lodging shares, if that part of the plan is decided on. Keep up the good work and keep reporting the progress in the paper. Thank you. My town here in Franklin County developed a Comprehensive Plan a few
years ago, and it has proven to be extremely valuable and will for years
to come. The more citizens that participated in it - the better it became. |

| "I believe our community needs to focus
on our younger generation. We have nothing in our area for our children.
I believe that someone could make a good business with gymnastics, martial
arts, and/or dance instruction. A fitness gym would be very beneficial for everyone, young and old. More competitive vendors would help the community as well - perhaps recruiting a supermarket like Country Mart or Town and Country, or even a Dollar General Store." |
